I've just begun Succession this week, first time watching it. First things first, the theme tune is dynamite.

Right? It's one of very few I don't find grating after a while

Just seen this.

A very good documentary about whether the gunpowder plot could have blown up the Houses of Parliament. They build a replica Houses of Parliament and blow it up with the same type of gunpowder that would have been used at the time.

A good documentary for anyone interested in history or blowing stuff up.

Just finished the latest series of Naked Attraction (the 11th one already!).

They must be running out of willing people at this stage since the same woman was in the pods for 3/6 episodes of the new series (rejected every time too), and there were a few familiar faces from previous series.

If you haven't seen this yet i strongly recommend that you do. Made in 99 it's about British soldiers in Bosnia during the war, acting as peacekeepers and the horrors they witness.

I've just finished P.O.W. Couldn't recommend it enough, if you like good drama or good war drama.

Taskmaster.

I've only seen a bit of it here and there before and didn't really understand the concept or find what I saw funny, but I keep seeing people recommending it and I like half the guests they have (I dislike the two hosts though) so thought I would give it a proper go. I looked up what the best series was and a few lists said it was the Bob Mortimer one. I love him and I like Aisling Bea and Sally Phillips so it seemed like a good place to start.

I decided to stop after the second episode. It's just not funny at all! I think the producers are well aware of that too since the hosts keep insisting to the audience before, during and after the clips how funny everything is, then if that wasn't enough there's the audience cackling away constantly and the sound of their laughter is mixed so loudly that's all you can hear most of the time. I think if it didn't have that laugh track it would be plainly obvious that it isn't funny.

Last night I watched the Sopranos episode with Tony's mum's insane CGI'd head

I love that such a prestigious TV show did that. It would be like one of the actors from Breaking Bad dying mid-show and they replace them with a sock puppet.

^ Yeah that really threw me. She died before production, so even her lines were taken from previous the season.

New series of Black Mirror or trying too. The bloody fan is so loud and distracting - even with headphones on! - that it's hard to concentrate.
