Nope, this is my first session. I had a singing teacher a few years ago but she went back to Bolton and I couldn't afford her anymore anyway.

Park my car in a village, drink in a pub, have a 2 hour walk through the countryside along an old railway line to another village, then get the bus back to get my car.

That sounds marvellous, Tembo! How do you find out about these walks? Do you discover them yourself?

^ What did you eat Percy?
![]() Thank you for the comments! I made it to the village with just 5 mins to spare for the bus. I always underestimate how long I’ll take! It’s usually better to park the car, get the bus somewhere, then walk back as you can take as long as you like then. Biscuits, I mostly plan walks myself using an Ordnance Survey map which shows all the public footpaths. You don’t necessarily have to buy one, as you can see them on Bing Maps and change the layer to OS. Or there’s a few books which show walks in my local area. Usually I take my dog but it was far too hot yesterday. And this walk went through a sheep field so I’m glad I didn’t have her. The lambs were very curious of me! I could take my dog though on a lead, but it’s a bit risky. I will try to put some photos here, if I can remember how to! |

That does indeed sound great Tembo. You're more adventurous than me, I pretty much always go to the same park

Sounds great! Would you ever start up a walking train related meet up on here? Or do you prefer solo travel?

Try to order some new perfume. I'm super fussy with scent, so it's difficult finding new ones I like and I tend to use the same ones over and over. But I really want a change. Any ladies in the forum have any recommendations?
