Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
If you want to read a film, why don't you just download the subs and read them? I want to watch films, not read a small block of text at the bottom of the screen while missing the film, so I'll take the dubbed version thanks.

Subs just aren't the same. The performances don't match what's going on, and it ruins the actors intent imo. |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
I watch everything with subtitles. I feel like I can't understand what's going on otherwise.

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
I don't mind subtitles if I don't understand the language, but if it's in English they completely throw me off. I end up reading everything before it's spoken, and I kind of zone out from listening properly. I'd probably be better off with them though, because I'm sure I flat out don't hear about a 1/3 of what's said due to wanky ears and general slowness.

People that say ' live as if there is no tomorrow' . Bollocks. Don't see you emptying your bank account. We as humans know in all probability tomorrow is a reality and it might be nice to be able to eat or care for ourselves so no, go **** yourself and your cliche.

Agreed Miggs. Both the people that lecture me about this are in a financial position to be able to do this. I have suggested they give me their money, but apparently they do need that for tomorrow.

My boss ringing me up out of hours
I really cant be bothered and just let it ring till he gives up..but then I need some sort of "reason" the next day why I blanked him ..It's pretty sad when your only phone call is your boss ringing you up out of hours, I just saw the screen light up and had a small fit |

Phone automatically updating apps which i don't use and which take up heaps of storage space. Keep uninstalling them but phone keeps on updating them. Should be able to choose which apps u want on phone and be able to uninstall ones u don't use. But don't seem to get much choice in the matter.

Need to have my hair cut soon, I hate having to sit there and look at yourself in the big mirror, I'm always really focused on trying to look relaxed
At least I've found a hairdresser that doesn't do chit-chat |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
Yesterday the manager of the shop came into work, sat down doing nothing for 2 hours until the owner arrived, then told the owner he was sick and needed to go home.
If he was sick, why did he sign himself in for 2 hours and do nothing instead of going home or just not coming in (thief). Everyone prefers it without him here anyway, he's unneeded. More annoyingly he was asking to go home in that same croaky slow voice that 5 year olds use when they are feigning sickness to get a day at home with mummy. Honestly, most days I could happily snap his neck and throw him in the bin where he belongs, but more so yesterday morning. |

People who display letters after their name. Had one today, a doctor with 'MB BCH BAO DCH DOBS AME CAA'. I'm sure somewhere this stuff matters, but not when you're ordering tat off of Amazon.

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
Dirty lazy people who toss their rubbish, usually empty fast food cartons, into the trolleys outside of the supermarket. Don’t they know that a shopping trolley is for putting shopping in?!!! There’s usually a rubbish bin nearby or failing that just leave your stinky rubbish in your car, like I do, and discard it in the wheelie bin when you get home! The worst though is people throwing used tissues into the trolleys. I really don’t want to be putting my French stick into a trolley that’s covered in your snot you dirty swine!!

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
have spent ages going round in circles with the homebase website. Asks for details and finds my address. Click on 'use this address' and in theory it should take you through to the payment screen but nope straight back to the beginning again
Ended up doing it in Edge browser which worked fine Chrome obviously doesn't want me to have a crimbo tree. On a plus tho the tree I have picked is half the price in homebase than where I was looking at 1st. |
