Do Labour councillors think they're on the Jarrow March or something? Another thing that annoys me is middle/upper class pretending they're working class when they probably not done a hard days work in their lives.

Pfft!! Hanging onto a large headboard with one hand whilst trying to screw in a side rail using an idiotic allen key with the other, to then have his lordship launch himself onto the top of the headboard.
Many bad words were uttered!

He's off on an inspection round currently....

The sound of ticking clocks.

Ok, the sound of just one isn’t bad, but my Mum has three ticking clocks all in the living room. It is deeply irritating. If ever she is away, I take the batteries out. Yes I know I’m probably over-sensitive to noise.

^ I’m exactly the same! Whenever I stay at my sister’s I take the batteries out of her clock.

I bought her a new clock for Christmas and it’s silent .

It was purely by accident as I ordered it from Etsy and it didn’t say it was silent.

^ Ah but when you have a dripping tap that drips in time with the clock.
It means you are at the centre of the universe.

YouTube ads are out of control now. They never even appeal to me anyways, so wow what a waste of time.

I often watch YouTube vids on the telly through my Playstation, so I don't think there's a way to block the ads. Some long videos I've watched lately have had adverts about every 3 minutes! You can skip them after a few seconds, but it means suddenly the volume goes up as some soulless business plays twinky twonky ukelele music, and I have to reach for the remote, requiring me to move slightly, which is frankly unacceptable.

It's quite fun having a proxy server to hide your IP as your adverts all end up being from Taiwan and stuff,
They're not quite as annoying when you can't understand mandarin or whatever.

Speaking of ads, recently I've repeatedly been forced to sit through that McDonald's one with Yello's Oh Yeah where the woman does an eyebrow thing and everyone's got the ****iest faces and they all march out of the office like 'Come on, gang! Let's ditch these squares and get our arses down to hippest burger joint in town!' and there's so many of them there's absolutely no way they're all getting served before the end of their lunch break.

Yeah that's my issue. I do have an android and use ad blocker on Firefox, so I could just stream my phone to the TV, but some videos don't fit on the screen well and I like to multitask with my phone, so most times I don't even bother...

Ugh and so true. Some ads are loud as hell or really break you out of the moment. I'm actually going to be modding a firestick soon since we cancelled sky, so we can use that to watch anything we want with no ads or whatever. *cough*

I think a courier stole something straight out of the package for me! I ordered a mini cooper backpack from vinted (it matched my car!), and it arrived in a pickup locker for me so I picked it up today. I noticed right away that it felt ridiculously light, so I opened it up and all that was inside was a note from the seller and a piece of cardboard. D:

I sent the seller a message, and she confirmed that it must be missing. I notice that the package had a small hole in it (maybe to scope it out), and the packaging looked like it was opened and taped up so... Yeah...

I wonder if that backpack was worth more than we thought? O.o I only paid 13£ for it, so not a huge loss. Vinted will probably reimburse me anyways, I'm just annoyed, and feel bad for the seller too. She was pretty bummed about it!

^ Not siding with the courier, just offering an alternative story, but they may well have known/guessed it was missing and chose to deliver it anyway because you get paid per parcel and they were likely going to the pickup locker anyway because they go there daily with other parcels. It's also easy because you don't have to deal with the customer you're handing it to who would question why it's so light and then, 'hang about, there's nothing here mate... '.

My guess is that it got ripped during the sort at the depot - the sorter couldn't be arsed to deal with it at the time and threw it aside to deal with later. Then the bag and packaging got separated (deliberately/stolen or mistakenly) at some point - depots are usually a mess, they try their best (i.e. what minimum pays) but ripped and damaged parcels are an afterthought when the main sort is done.
