Builders next door - whatever they are doing is sending heavy low-frequency vibrations right through the building and up my spine. It's quite unsettling.

Because the "Big things that annoy you" thread remains locked, I'll pretend that this is just a minor thing.

A neighbour's fire alarm keeps going off for a minute then it stops for two minutes. Then that cycle repeats. It's on a constant loop.
What's going on! |

^ haha please put them back, silly sossidge.
^^ usually when the batteries go they makes a few beeps in quick succession. Who knows what was going on. I fell asleep. Then I woke up thinking I should have looked outside to see if anyone needed help. As far as I can tell there has been no fires. |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
I've lost the viewfinder from one of my cameras. I'm not sure how as I always keep it in a box, but I tend to lose things so it's not all that surprising!
I've emailed the manufacturer to see where I can get a replacement because I've looked on eBay and Etsy. They have some on eBay but they don't match the lens size. |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
^ carbon monoxide ones do what you're describing when battery gets low.
Ours did it about a month ago it woke me up and I had to work out of we were being poisoned or not from boiler so I waved it out the window in fresh air. Still made nouses so I took batteries out and went back to sleep. |

Do any of you SA babes have hay fever? Is there a specific way of finding out which specific pollen pisses of the organs of your face the most?
I seem to get it randomly and not every year, so I'd like to know what causes it. |

^download pollen pal app. Whatever pollen is high on each day you're sneezing/itchy is what you're allergy is.

^ try taking vitamin c, actimel, quercetin.
Or an antihistamine if they work for you. I'm really excited and looking forward to my grass pollen hayfever starting in less than 30 days. |

^^ it's so weird because it doesn't often get me! I'm not sure what to say to console the impending and inevitable grass pollen invasion. Eeek? Thanks for the tips. Antihistamines make me feel really weird! |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
Start throwing in capers or caperberries into all your summer salads.
They contain high amounts of quercetin and have anti inflammatory properties as well. Winner winner salad dinner. |
