Re: sounding like an adult

I know what you mean. I'm 26 now, and people are always very surprised when I tell them. I think it is because, apart from the fact that I look somewhat younger, they assume I am younger as I am...

Re: Driving with passengers

Re: Hobbies/Interests

Thanks everyone. :) My first shift wasn't too bad. I'm getting the hang of it. I've done enough customer service work to kinda be used to it now, so it's not as daunting anymore. The only thing is, I...

Re: Possible new job. Kinda freaking out.

If I were you, I would definitely take the job. In this day in age, you can't really afford to turn down job offers if you need a job. If nothing else, it will give you some valuable experience, and...

Re: Hobbies/Interests

Thanks for the replies guys.

It's funny you should use that example, because I actually have a hornby model railway, but it's been stored in a box for years since I don't have any space for...

Re: social media is depressing me so much!

I have a facebook account but I have pretty much stopped using it. I am not a fan of facebook at all. People share/post so much rubbish, that I find it gets annoying, and I'm really not interested in...

Re: shy or autistic

They are not the same thing, but I think that shyness can be a symptom of autism.

Re: SA-friendly jobs

I think you have misunderstood freelancer. When you place a bid, you are not buying the project, you are making an offer, saying "I will do the job for ... this amount." But you might be right about...

Returning user

I used to use this site a few years ago, but I haven't posted in nearly four years, although I've been doing a little lurking recently. I doubt anyone will remember me, so I am re-introducing myself....

Re: SA loner men - dating normal women and being exposed has not having friends

My girlfriend doesn't have SA but she is quite the shy type and doesn't have loads of friends or anything, we've been together nearly three months and although I have very few friends and don't...

Re: Got my first car

But as the driver, being sat on the right-hand side you would expect that if you are sat in the centre that you are too close to the kerb, no? When infact that is a good position.

Also I should...

Re: Got my first car

I had the same problem when learning, my instructor told me...

Re: How is everyone feeling? (16)

Re: How is everyone feeling? (16)

Thanks, and yeah, I've managed to hold the job for 2 months hehe. But the place is seriously under staffed so they won't get rid of me easy... It means I'm really over-worked though. I've had one day...
