When you're rejected as a travel companion on the grounds of age!
I've been offering a couple of spare tickets to Portugal for next February (originally booked for my ex-fiancée and her son) which have now gone past the date where the name can be changed cheaply. Anyway, I had no interest until a few days ago (whilst I was in Malta) but when the guy who wanted to take one of the tickets realised I was over 50, he withdrew his interest!

When the light-headedness from having a bath is enough to put you off from having a bath.
Does anyone else get that? I'm not all that comfortable laying in hot water anyway, and then you have to get out and dry off, teetering on passing out. It takes a while to 'recover' afterwards too.

Well i'm reading low blood pressure, and this is every time now that i have a bath! I have experienced light-headedness before (in my 'youth'), and have actually passed out on one occasion, but this i'm beginning to think is part of an underlying symptom :/
You haven't had a bath since?? Since when?

^ can't remember the last bath I had( I just shower these days I do wash lol ) but I remember light headyness getting out etc, think the steamier the bathroom the worse it is!
@ biscuit - that sounds bloody terrifying!! I wonder what caused that!? Definetly not having any baths now :/

 I can't go to the doctors cos i can't stand them. I fainted cos i was high: i got up from lying down, went to the bathroom and fainted. I woke up not long after, really really disorientated and came to fairly quickly. Now, that was different but i can see how easily it may occur to someone in their pomp/youth, on the occasion. This is different, something that i've been experiencing for a few years now - i literally can't stand to be in the bathroom for the steaminess (Miggs) - even though i leave the door open and window ajar - i have to leave the bathroom and into my cold bedroom (the radiator is always off). Even then i'm struggling, i feel really sluggish and verging not far from collapse or having to 'stop and rest'.

you start appreciating high fibre foods. Not that I'm saying I'm no longer in my prime. Although I'd be willing to do 100 sit ups if someone asked me. Then again I did eat a spicy pizza for lunch. Which reminds me I wont be having any food that make me feel bloated for a few days, because I have to tell ya, when you get bunged up it ain't no picnic. Anyway, I think I've made my point, whatever it was....
