Did a carboot today
Helped my mum do a carboot sale today.
Got up at 5am, got there about 7, fought my anxiety going through all the crowds.. And my god i was nervous with people coming up to the stall. I really need to go on an assertiveness course soon  this one woman came upto me..and said ''will you change my tenner for some change?'' and i just went ''yeah sure!'' what i really should have said was ''arent you buying anything? If not then no!'' but nope, i caved.And i let a couple 50p things go for 15p =( mes lousy at business talk! But i'm pretty proud of myself seeings as last night i was laying in bed contemplating not going. |

so cool ! I like carboots, sounds odd but i find them cosy lol..

To be honest though, the stuff we sold wasnt exactly..er..hip..It was only little toys.. a camcorder thing..a old radio.. a old car radio.. stuff like that.. And we'd put what we thought were fair prices on everything but still people tried to haggle. Someone told my mum to put 25.00 on the camcorder so she did..It wasnt getting sold so we ended up telling people we'd take 20 for it. Then one guy came over, looking all charming, trying to get it from us for 15.. so we said ok then 15s ok..Then he said ''all i have is 12'' and my mum said ''no sorry'' ..the guy went away then caved in and came back lol..So funny..
