went out alone
I rarely go out alone. I constantly make up excuses not to go out on my own but I actually made myself go out 2 days ago and it was a fairly positive experience. Yay me! I need to plan these outings on my own more. Does it get easier the more you do it? I have so many negative thoughts running through my head when I go out. It's so frustrating.

Re: went out alone
I find it really difficult as well to go out alone, so I know how you feel. That's brilliant that you've done it!!

Re: went out alone
Well done my saaaaan
Yes definately keep it up, that's the key and do it at totally different times of the day....i used to go up to my kids school at certain times, but if i were to think about venturing anywhere else in any other direction at a random other time of day, i felt i couldn't do it.... But it's getting easier for me now and it will get better for you too... Nice one |

Re: went out alone
It takes guts first to even step out of the door, but if you dont youre never going to challenge your fears. One small step at a time is the thing, set yourself a small challenge each day. I am always more confident if Ive got something to do like shops or post a letter. Since I had a dog four years ago I am so much more confident because the dog gets the attention when I meet people. People seem alot less scary now
