hope you enjoyed that rather gruesome title...

anyway, went and met some people last night, firewoman and auster from sa scotland (but they don't seem to have a trophy room), and my old chum custardcreams, to see a film and then had a chat afterwards. twas good! very glad i went, but i was manic and mental as hell! suppose i might get a bit better after a few more.

anyway, thanks to those i met with, i liked it.

Well done!! It was nice to meet you and you were good company and I wouldn't have known you were nervous at all. Nice to see custard creams and auster again too.

thanks for all the encouragement. overall, it was great - i'm just so bored of being by myself and staying in the house that i pretty much had to go.

really enjoyed the conversation and good company. feeling rather postive about it, although i don't know when i'm going to stop feeling so nervous about it all.

hi aurorasky,

i had some methods for turning up...i already know custard creams, so the fact that she was going and i went with her made it feel more inevitable. also got really kava'd up before it, and went for a stodgy meal to dull my senses. worked for me!

i'm too wuss to start up my own meet, but i would love to go to another cinema meet or something, and soon. someone please get one organised, i'm so bored! i'd go to see pretty much any film, even bad ones have entertainment value.

there is a jazz meet next week (jazz meet!

that sounds so dodgy) which is soon enough for me...something to look forward to, but not too soon so as to be scary. details on sa scotland.

where can i find out about seeing volver? i like seeing foreign films, almost as a rule.
