Those of you who don't go out.....

I have noticed that a lot of people on here say they only go out once a fortnight to sign on or whatever. Just wondered what you do about food etc? do you have it delivered or do you just do a big shop once a month or whatever?

I go out once or twice a month - thats it.
For food, I get it delivered - I seem to be able to deal with one delivery person at a time and have even chatted and joked with them (this has been one of my recent achievements that I am proud of).
If I need something urgently I normally ask a family member.

either my dad goes for the shopping..or we order it online

..i dont actually have a problem going to a supermarket SA wise..but since i dont have a car, i aint hauling 20 bags back when he can put them in the boot

if i lived alone id just keep using delivery services..out of bone idleness i suspect, even though as i say i Could do it fine

I still live with my mum and dad so it's something I don't have to worry about thankfully. I always go shopping with my mum now which is something I didn't used to do, I hate it and always will but I make sure I go these days. I pack all the shopping away as well when we get home, it's the least I could do. Every so often she shops online as well (with help from me because she is useless with computers ) It's nice to get some items without having to go out and deal with the anxiety.

I dont even go out once a fortnight I'm on ESA with Agoraphobia,so I just eat what my mum buys.

i'm able to do SHORT grocery trips quite well.
(as a matter of fact, without them i'd go almost nowhere).

i try 2 plan my shopping times for when less people will be there.
(or take an mp-3, & it's even easier to reduce anxiety).

there used to be days that i would have 2 leave my grocery cart & run out
of the store from panic. thank God i haven't felt that way lately

I don't go out at weekends. I go to my local supermarket for my weekly food .
