Best Man at my Pals Wedding

I cant believe i was my pals Best Man on Saturday

I had been dreading the day for about a Year and had a major depression set back in February and i had to go back on meds, i couldnt even get out the house never mind go to the wedding and had made up my mind i wasn't going.

Anyway to cut a long story short after a lot of hard mental work and positive thinking i went to the wedding and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I did have 2 full on panic attacks but i rode the panic wave and came out the other side

I was a bridesmaid this year and am a bridesmaid again in august, I cannot honestly think of a worse situation for someone with SA and I know how you feel! It was all the things I cannot cope with or do in one day , nightmare. Well done again x

Well done, that's brill.

I find weddings one of the worst. I had to be bridesmaid for my dads wedding and absolutely hated it.

In the past i read on the forum of people over coming their wedding fears and i thought i could never go through with the event but i did

i hope this gives people who think they cant attend social stuff that it is possible

I cant believe how much my confidence has gone up since the wedding, i,m trying to go to more social gatherings to keep the momentum going

And once you get on the rollercoaster it can be hard to get off!
