It's been a while...

Haven't posted on here in a few months, life seems to be more positive.

Last year was the turning point, I broke up from a relationship that wasn't working out on my part, socialised a bit more with my friends and family, got some confidence and went on a few dates, went on holiday for the first time in 5 years as I was afraid of getting on a plane, and then met my boyfriend who has really helped me get back to my old self

I'd been unhappy in my job for a long while after being there for almost 7 years, then the opportunity came along for me to go to Australia for a year with my boyfriend and I decided that now was the time to live a little! We booked the flight tickets, I handed in my notice at work just before Christmas and then moved out of my flat after New Year.

Had lots of fun so far in Aus, we started off in Sydney for a week seeing all the sights, moved up North to a place called Port Stephens for the second week which was picture perfect and have been in Perth for the last 6 weeks staying with a friend whilst looking for work.

I've finally started watching what I eat, cutting back on the junk food (eating alot less chocolate as it's quite expensive here!) and going to Zumba classes twice a week. I've lost 8lbs in 4 weeks which i'm hoping is the start of more come
