^ Not quite right NDF - if you look at the first post in the thread it sort of explains what limericks are. They are five lines long with a rhyme scheme of AABBA. They also have a rhythm which goes:

Di da diddy da diddy da
Di da diddy da diddy da
Di da diddy da
Di da diddy da
Di da diddy da diddy da

Anyway it's time to start a new one:

One day in the middle of June

^ jerry your rhyme is great! But unfortunately it doesn't quite fit the Limericks format so I have provided an alternative last line. The limerick should be 5 lines long and should follow the rhyme scheme AABBA

There was an old man named breeze
Who was infested with thousands of fleas
His house was made out of jam
and his shoes were fashioned from Ham
But the fleas preferred biting his knees
