I'm always up early with a jolt of anxiety

I bloody love going to Cambridge. It was good fun. I made friends with a rather large dog in a shop.

Getting the all clear from my doc to get back into 'proper' fitness. I want to get back into kickboxing and a bunch of other stuff that I haven't touched for years. Never thought I'd miss exercise!

Guns n Roses @ Glastonbury.

Now, it of course has a 98.7% chance of being utter shite.
However there is a slim hope that Axl Rose's voice will be ok and it won't end up looking like a bad tribute band.

Please don't let it up end like

And they never end the live version of Sweet Child like they used to do. Which is infuriating because the old way still gives me tingles.

And no not going, just watching on TV.

No popping your head round, you have to stay and regale us with tales of dolphins.

And who are you calling Polty?

Well, I probably can't speak on behalf of all of dolphin-kind, but the two species I have worked with over these last years are super-duper and seem very happy indeed with their lives and always thrilled to see our research boat They are leading charmed lives (no fishing nets, no disturbance, pristine habitat) and have a lot of time on their hands (flippers?!) to play around boats and surf waves and generally mess about. They are amazing I will say hi to them from you!

Yeah. Well, if I am truthful, my role over the last 7 years has been more whale research than dolphins - I am running a project somewhere pretty remote, collecting data on their distribution, abundance, genetics, diet etc. But I squeeze in as much dolphin time as I can, as they bring the most joy

Ahhh, well, I'm not sure how to respond to that one. Life has had some up and down moments, and mostly a lot of just existing. I moved to a place that has been very isolating, and its been a challenge even though I like to be alone. I also had a new diagnosis (ASD) this year and I'm still slowly digesting that and trying to better understand my last 40+ years on this planet.
What about yourself?
