Only listed them last night and didn't expect to sell any this side of Christmas, hopefully the first of many
Will you be able to provide us all with jobs in your T-Shirt making factory when we all move in to the SAUK village/castle then?

I don't think I've ever posted in this thread but I was invited to a work friend's birthday meal earlier in the week...and today I went. I managed to sit, for three hours and chat to two work friends and have a lovely time It probably doesn't sound like a big deal but it is the first time I have been to a social event that didn't involve my family in about three years. I'm pretty happy

Not really something I did, but I got a call from the bike shop this afternoon to say the wheel came in for my bike and that it was all sorted and ready to pick up straight away.

So now I have both bikes for Christmas week so can go out on Christmas day even if it's wet (I think it's so dry this weekend I'll be ablr to use the summer bike tomorrow for a ride anyway).

I fixed the transmission problem on my car saving myself over £500. It shifts beautifully now and I actually look forward to driving it rather than the feeling of creeping dread I had before wondering if I'd make it home in one piece! Well worth the hours of research and sodding around in the cold all day.

Like everything I DIY from plumbing to automotive, Google! Youtube video just took me through the entire process pretty much step by step. Almost idiot proof, thankfully

Yeah and he's a she. But she gets that alot. Ha ha pretty much. Specifically it's her 'Why are you crouching down and pointing that camera in my face' look.

I do the same with stuff in the house where I'm reasonable confident I won't end up either killing myself or causing a gazillion quid's of damage! Cars are just a wee bit out of a my comfort zone.

It was a close colleague's Birthday today and I went to the pub at lunch for a (soft) drink with him and a few others. Only for an hour and I didn't exactly do much small talk but I went.

Gave a presentation to a group of people today which involved talking for about 10 minutes. Was really anxious before, especially when I was waiting my turn...almost on the verge of a panic attack it seemed, but when I was up there I was okay, and I kind of enjoyed it too.

You know me too well. I actually had a 2L bottle of Dr Pepper during the night before, and two cans and one bottle before the presentation

Jesus...when I read that back

Helped with facilitating an event for senior managers today, felt positively sick at the beginning and hated having to use a microphone as I always think it makes my shaking hands more obvious but actually think it went alright in the end. Glad it's over though.

Well done folks, sounds like you flipped a binge switch off in your head Fippy. I was having similar problems, craving carbs and beer, i blame xmas!
Today I did a fairly large shop, meditated and braved my freezing garage for a workout!
Off to work shortly, which will take me a little out of my comfort zone but not too much

Had the day off work and kind of enjoyed a cold and damp bike ride (didn't get carried away and grind myself into the ground for 3 + hours, which was good).

I asked a friend of mine if they wanted to meet up over the weekend, they said yes despite the fact we haven't talked for a year

I booked a last minute hair appointment last night for this afternoon as my fringe was starting to get too long and also needed a trim. I ended up coming out of the salon with a completely new hairstyle that I had wanted to have for years but didn't think it would suit me as I have a very round face and chubby cheeks! I got a graduated bob cut and I absolutely love it and feel a million times more confident. I am so glad I said to my stylist that I was thinking of getting it done and that she was so encouraging and nice
