I went to the big social meet last night in downtown orlando.

Despite getting lost, nervous when the barmaid winked at me and gave me a free drink,and not knowing who the hell anyone was (apart from my soccer teamamtes, who I've known for all of 2 weeks) I just about survived. That is about the first time in 6 months I've been somewhere with so many new people. (200 there in the private party)

I was bricking it last night, and it took me a couple of hours to settle back down....but here Iam.

That must've been quite an experience lol. I remember when I had to go to a meeting of around 200 or more ppl for my old job and I did NOT like it! Hope you get many more free drinks in the future .

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

I doubt I pulled, lol, but it's nice to get a subtle compliment from the barmaid. I'm gonna try another meet in a couple of weels, if I can get over my nerves.
Hopefully,it'll get gradually easier the more I do it.
