Living in a chav area - the locals used to call me "professor" or say that I looked like their tutor or youth offending worker

The 'when threads get heated' thread being removed for discussion I see. There's a irony in that, made me chuckle.

Cardiff City being on Sky Sports 2 tomorrow night at 5:20pm. It means I don't have to spend half an hour trying to find the correct radio channel to listen to commentary

My five year old niece eating her baby sister's chocolate and excusing it by saying: 'She doesn't like chocolate, she wants to stay healthy.' Her little sister can hardly talk yet, 'wants to stay healthy' lol.

At the end of the funeral I went to the other day they played 'Always look on the Bright Side of Life'. Wasn't sure at the time if it was appropriate but it lifted to mood a bit.

^ He gives kisses when he wants something. But he has had the end of my nose off before (not completely - but there was a flap. Has healed now).

Aww, Amazons are lovely. Parrots are such hard work though, aren't they? Worse than having a toddler.

My parrot terrorises my dogs. You can often find him riding round on one of their backs, like a little jockey - and laughing.
He needs constant entertaining or he screams. I have to build towers and bridges out of wooden bricks for him to knock down. I also have to dance and sing songs that I've made up for him, every night or he won't go to bed. He'll only eat when I'm eating, and I have scars everywhere from where he's bitten me. I love him dearly but I'd never get another parrot, knowing what I know now. I sent him away to parrot rehab once, for two weeks and he came back worse. He just runs round the place like a lunatic.
