Account Suspension/board problems

Hi,
As many of you have noticed we keep getting our account suspended! We've grown too big for our current service and whenever we get too much activity on our board we end up messing up the service for all the others on our shared server, then we get shut down...

Occultus and I have already arranged a move to a new server where we will have more bandwidth, etc. Unfortunately, it will take us at least a few more days to complete the move. In the meantime, I'm going to turn off some of the functions of the board to try to prevent this from happening again. I'll post a list of things that are disabled as they occur.

Sorry for the inconvenience but soon we will have a nice new server!

Thanks for the update.

I seem to have lost 'View New Posts', which is how I access 99% of the forum. Is this part of the temporary change?

I've just turned off the search function which includes 'new posts'. That's probably the most server intensive function we use, so hopefully turning it off will keep us online for the next few days.
